BOTOX® Cosmetic is the only approved treatment to temporarily improve the appearance of both moderate to severe frown lines between the brows and crow’s feet lines in adults. Wrinkles such as worry lines, laugh lines, neck lines, crow’s feet, and neck bands are caused by muscles under the skin contracting when we laugh, smile, or express emotions. Neuromodulators, or muscle relaxants, such as Botox®, are used strategically to relax specific muscles that convey a negative connotation like anger, sadness, and tiredness.
When placed correctly, neuromodulators are used to ‘wake up other muscles that convey a positive expression leaving you fresh, rested, and youthful-looking.
